Week 03- "Life's a Game Log #3"

Our game was a very interesting and simple fun game. Our game included different elements to make it into the design. The game doesn't have any props or anything which makes it easier to play anywhere you want with anyone you want. Since all you need is hands mostly everyone can play. The way we played this game was adapted to have a good amount of ppl to play but it can be played to a total minimum of 2 people. This way it can go fast and you can play it with one other friend and see who has the most wins within the 5-minute timer or the one that can get to 10 wins first. In "Play Matters" states, "A play space is a location specifically created to accommodate play but does not impose any particular type of play, set of activities, purpose, or goal or reward structure." This shows that our game can be played in any location, such as play spaces. Which are spaces that aren't meant for anything specific. This game can be played anywhere as long you have at least yourself and another person. In the book it said, "to an experience that not only becomes memorable", that is the reason we are making our game to make memories that last a lifetime. The book, also said, "If we look at how a playground is designed, we notice how to play in space is often organized around props." In our game, there are no props needed which makes it way easier to be played anywhere and anytime. Our game got some feedback from the students in class. The main thing was figuring out how we are going to end the game. Since my group didn't have a set-in-stone end to the game it was difficult to know when it ends. So based on feedback in the class we came up with the idea to have a 5-minute timer while playing and the longest line at the end wins!
